What To Expect

Lama Temple (Yonghegong)
Your friendly local tour guide will pick you up from your Beijing downtown hotel lobby between 6:30 am - 8:00 am, get in a comfortable coach to start the full-day Beijing sightseeing.

Head for Olympic Green and you may take amazing pictures of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

Continue to visit the Lama Temple (Yonghe Lamasery). It is considered as the largest and best-preserved lamasery in China. This exceptional temple is a glittering attraction, where riveting roofs, fabulous frescoes, magnificent decorative arches, tapestries, eye-popping carpentry, Tibetan prayer wheels, Buddhist statues and a superb pair of Chinese lions mingle with dense clouds of incense.

Jingshan Park (Jingshan Gongyuan)
Then enjoy a traditional Chinese cuisine lunch in local restaurant, and move on to have a Hutong tour. Hutongs are the origin of Beijing culture and could reflect the ancient Beijing life. Nowadays, most of hutongs are demolished to make way for new roads and buildings. Whereas, some are designated as protected area and some others are packed with various boutique stores offering a lively atmosphere. Later come to Jingshan Park, a former imperial garden and the best point to get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City.

Finally, you will visit a silk shop where you can do some shopping, enjoy Chinese traditional silk arts and get gifts for your relatives back home. When the tour concludes, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
