What To Expect

Beihai Park (Beihai Gongyuan)
Beihai park built at 1166AD, it is the earliest and most complete classical imperial garden in china for liao Jin Yuan Ming Qing five dynasty royal family deal with the state affairs here. Here you will see the Yuan relic iron screen; nan mu palace, the entire wooden structure of the hall is completely constructed of nanmu, which are outstanding architectural works of Ming dynasty; one of the three pieces Nine Dragon Wall from china, also the only double-side wall, which carved 635 large and small dragons on both side, called the essence of Chinese glazed architecture.

Come to the famous artist Qi Bai shi's (1864 --- 1957 ) former residence at Yu'er Hu tong. Qi Bai Shi was the most outstanding Chinese painting masters in the 20th century of china. He's vivid shrimps with different shapes at has different ages, flowers with birds, landscapes, humans images, here you can enjoy many his art works, his painting style was incomparable.
