Your tour guide will hold your name sign waiting for you in the lobby of your hotel, then you will be transferred to Beijing South Railway Station. Relax on the 2 hour bullet train ride to Qinhuangdao.

Great Wall at Shanhaiguan Pass (Zhendong Gate)

Upon arrival, use the local taxi heading directly to Shanhaiguan Great Wall which takes about 30 minutes. Your tour guide will explain the related histories and stories along the way, feel free to ask questions if you have.

Shanhai Pass was a fortress built in the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) to defend against the intrusion of the Mongolian tribes. Follow your tour guide getting down from the pass, you will see many well-preserved old buildings, it is a great place to enjoy the ancient architectural style. Stroll around the old residences and traditional workshops.

Continue to visit Laolongtou Great Wall.

Laolongtou is where the Great Wall of China meets the sea and was once considered as where the Great Wall of China starts. The wall here stretches 23 meters into the sea like a dragon drinking water, hence its name-Old Dragon's Head.

Follow your tour guide to discover the area, get to know its history and stories. You will visit the Estuary Stone City, Jinglu Watchtower, Wangshou Watchtower, Nanhaikou Pass, Chenghai Tower, Ninghai City and Binhai City.
