Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

Walk through Tian'anmen (adorned with the famous portrait of Mao Zedong), as emperors did, to the highlight of the day, the Forbidden City. Marvel at the splendid architecture, and feel the majesty of the emperor's imperial stronghold. The Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors in the Ming and Qing dynasties from 1420 to 1912.
