This diverse trip takes us to places such as Suzhou’s ancient trade streets and canals, all the way to the mega-trade city of Shanghai. We visit the ancient capital of Chang’An, and also the current vibrant capital, Beijing. As well as the urban landscapes of China’s metropolis, we will also be walking through the country’s natural landscapes in Guilin. Here we realize the contrast between the country’s urban societies and the lives of traditional farmers in the villages by Yangshuo. Without a doubt, this extensive 14 days trip reveals that China is a country far more complex than what is portrayed in the western media.
