After picking up from your central located Beijing's hotel lobby at 8:00am in the morning, then go for Cloisonné Factory first, which is a kind of famous traditional enamel ware, known as the 'blue of Jingtai' in china, with a history of over 700 years during Ming dynasty. You'll find everything under the sun done up in elaborate enameling. Fill a suitcase full of necklaces, bracelets and small vases for the family back home. The stuff ranges in price from dirt cheap to tens of thousands. With produce which is one of the famous eight "unique skills" of old Beijing, the factory features an open workshop to show how it's done.
