What To Expect

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)

Your friendly private guide will meet you at 5:00am in your downtown hotel lobby. If you stay at the hotels far from the city center, the tour might start a little early. Head to Tiananmen Square, and experience the Flag Raising Ceremony together with thousands of Chinese citizens. It base on the sun Flag raising ceremony and Flag Lowering ceremony at sunrise and sunset. There is live music performance on the 1st of every month, and if would be nice you can be here on this day! During the ceremony, China national anthem plays. and 36 Soldiers holding Chinese National Flag with 138 steps total towards the Tiananmen square. It is very patriotic. The raising flag is same like sunrise with just 2 minutes 7 second. Stroll along Tiananmen Square. Admire the Great Hall of the People . National Museum Of China, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. Monument of the People's Heroes and The Gate of Heavenly Peace.

After the ceremony, continue your tour to Qianmen Dashilan Hutong for a short walk, and savor an authentic local breakfast along the way, such as some authentic soy milk, dim sum, congee, wonton, potstickers and Fried-stick.
