Overview

You might want to see Beijing during your layover time. This layover private day tour will let you visit The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Summer Palace with a local guide. You will be met you at Beijing Capital or Daxing international Airport from 7am to 10am as per your flight time, then start the day tour. If you If you arrive earlier, we will pick you up at 8am at the arrival exit with a signage writing your name. Chinese lunch and drinks are included as well. Afterwards you will be transferred back to Beijing airport to catch your flight. Note: You need to check the China Visa policy in terms of your nationality, though Beijing airport is 144-hour-visa-free for most of nationalities.

What To Expect

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

From 7am to 10am, we will pick you up from Beijing International Airport as per your flight information. If you arrive earlier, we will pick you up at 8am at the arrival exit with a signage writing your name. Then take 1-hour car ride to The Forbidden City and start the day tour. This is a palace museum to display the original royal palace from 1420 to 1911AD. It is nice to view the houses, and antiques in the museum. Moreover, you will learn the history and story from your local guide.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)

You will also visit the biggest city square in the world with your local guide. As the city centre, this is a wonderful place to take photos.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

Afterwards, you will head to the well-known Summer Palace, which used to be the palace for the royal family to escape the heat during Ming and Qing Dynasty in China. There are well-preserved houses, long painting corridor, marble boat etc. here. It is a nice experience to take a boat on the Kunming Lake to view the Longevity Hill.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to Beijing airport to catch your next flight where the layover day tour concludes.
