Mutianyu Great Wall

Meet your private guide and personal driver at 8:30 am. You'll spend the 90-minute drive to the Great Wall at Mutianyu in climate-controlled comfort. Less busy than the Great Wall at Badaling, this stretch of the UNESCO-listed Great Wall is famous for its dazzling scenery and rich forests. After the Great Wall, your guide will recommend some options for lunch, which is at your own expense.

In the afternoon, choose which Beijing sights you'd like to see: your guide will provide suggestions based on your interests, how much time remains, and current traffic conditions. Popular classic options include the UNESCO-listed Summer Palace, and the Temple of Heaven.

Alternatively, see Tibetan monks in action at the Lama Temple and explore the surrounding web of hutong alleyways. Or you might prefer to explore the Olympic Park, including the Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest) and Aquatics Center (Water Cube).
