What To Expect

Jinshanling Great Wall
After pickup from your central Beijing hotel, journey north by private, air-conditioned vehicle with your guide to Jinshanling. On route, hear all about this section of the Great Wall, one of the most beautiful, least-visited, and challenging parts of the UNESCO-listed structure.

After a 2- to 2.5-hour drive, arrive and ascend to the ramparts by cable car. Your guide will recommend different walking routes and vantage points along the way. Then, enjoy two to four hours hiking along the battlements, depending on the time available and your selected route. As you walk, admire the mountain views and inspect the watchtowers, arrow holes, and other fortifications.
