What To Expect

The Underground City (Chinese: pinyin: Dxià Chéng) is a Cold War-era bomb bunker built beneath Beijing, China. Because it had intended for military protection, it was also known as the Underground Great Wall. As Sino-Soviet ties deteriorated, the complex had built between 1969 and 1979 in preparation for a nuclear war with the Soviet Union, and it had officially inaugurated in 2000.
