It is an important outpost of Juyongguan, and it is called “the danger of Juyong is not in Guan, and in Badaling”. The Badaling section of the Ming Great Wall was called "Yuguan Tianzhu" and was one of the eight scenic spots in Juyongguan in the Ming Dynasty.
